Bahar Ergin FAAT - Izmir Turk College, Science Teacher

She has been graduated from Izmir Turk College in 1992 and from 9 Eylul University, Faculty of Education, and Department of Physics in 1996. After that, she started to teach science in Izmir Turk College, which is the high school she was graduated from. Currently she has been working as 6-7-8th grades science teacher in Izmir Turk College.

She has been leading science projects for competitions and guiding students for scientific researches for 11 years. She is also interested in extinction of races and she has been leading projects that will let the students save species from extinction. She joined Global Friendship Through Space Education in 2004 and till that time, she has been also working in this program.

She thinks that The Global Friendship Program is a unique opportunity for students and for her to expand knowledge and open mind. Also cultural exchange, cooperation and friendship let them more proactive and innovative in their work.
