Alon LEVY - Teacher at The Science & Knowledge Center for Gifted Children
Ever since I can remember myself I was intrigued by space, stars and space travel. As a kid, I read all since fiction books in our library as wall as all astronomy books (it was quit small). At 1996 I graduated from Haifa University and got my B.Sc. in math and physics. Ever since I teach astronomy and astrophysics to gifted children in numerous "whole day" programs in our aria. Occasionally, we "take a night off" and use our 8" telescope to enjoy the night sky. Recently, I fulfilled the entire requirement for my Ph.D. in applied mathematics in I.I.T.
I currently live in Tivon and have 5 kids.
“Global Friendship Through Space Education” is a great opportunity for me to (partly) fulfill an old dream of becoming an astronaut. It also gives us plenty of opportunities to study and expand our knowledge in Astronomy and space since. I feel that the "Global friendship" part is a grate opportunity of meeting and making our society more coherent.
